♥ Won't Someone Stop This Train
No I'm not dead yet.
I've been reading everyone's blog regularly, catching up with what's happening around the world (well, Melbs and SG) beyond Animal Health Management and Welfare.
Anyways here's what's happening. I shall exclude the bad stuff this time (well most of it, mainly because i don't feel like talking about it).
Mum and dad are here. Kinda glad, because mum's supervision makes me procrastinate less, so I can get a tiney fraction of my work done. Well, better than nothing right.
My brother finally graduated. And of course I am MOST PROUD. Not of my photography skill. I guess I was watching him cross the stage, catching the moment through the tiny camera hole, and my hand did not click as many times as i thought it did. Guess my multi-tasking skills aren't as good (or is even worse) as(/than) i thought. That's besides the point, I feel guilty, luckily we took nice photos before hand.
Just finished reading Eclipse (the 3rd instalment to the Twilight series which EVERYONE should read). Don't you wish you could be as lucky as Bella. I would gladly live in constant danger to have even 1/2 of what she has (i.e. either Jacob or Edward). Those who read the story knows what I mean.
Ok on to more interesting matters. On the 27th and 18th, I helped out at the Royal Melbourne Show. haha indulge me for a second: YAY FREE PASSES! And nice fluffy alpacas. On the first day I was there alone, and Valencia the girl I was handling (alpaca not human of course) won 4th, and Benoit (the alpaca farmer) let me keep the 4th place ribbon :D. And poop scooping for 18 alpacas is a really tough job, there's just too much shit around haha. Thankfully The Gez aka GezzieBooBoo was there on the 2nd day. It was quite boring most of the day, caz there wasn't as much to show as I thought, and we sat around in the cold breeze/burning sun. And we were also on the losing team, and that sucked. So when it came down to the very very last alpaca, his name is Fire Dragon (yup Gez's bear is named after him), Gez and I decided it was time to intervene. So we used our magical words of wisdom and gave Fire Dragon a pep talk, telling him how he was our last hope of being the only alpaca from the farm to win first place, and putting alot of pressure on him. After which, he strutted into the ring like the champ that he is, and HE WON 1ST PLACE!!! After which he also won the Championship for his age category.
Then the deciding moment came... it was time for the supreme championship... where the champion of the champions was gonna be picked out (i.e. Supreme Champion = the best alpaca of the entire show across all age groups within that species of alpaca). And surprisingly Fire Dragon won that!!!! We were having a ribbon drought, then suddenly, we claimed the biggest prize, it could not have been better! I was seriously happy for Benoit and Philippa, and they are not paying me to say this, but i am truely happy for them.
Anyway sorry for making you read through that extremely boring animal talk here's some pictures:
Yup, I actually have all their names memorised. and i just love the smell of alpacas. Oh and I shouted at this annoying guy who tried to scare the alpacas. He truely had it coming, I wonder why he didn't see me in the next pen with a poop shovel in my hand glaring at him when he took out his squeeky toy to scare the alpacas. I wonder why i didn't smack him in the head. But he ran off so quickly I didn't get a chance to have a 2nd look at him... hmmm.
I need a shower.
I need a shower.

♥ Salivary Glands do have a sense of humour after all!
Today was the dreaded Physiology test, but not so dreaded in a sense that it was an open book test. Honestly, this the only test out of the entire year that I actually finished studying within schedule. BUT when I sat infront of the test paper, I completely blanked out on Respiratory physiology... OH WELL! I made full use of the 'open book' theme. It's all good! Because after tomorrow, we have no school for the next two weeks.
The sad thing about that is that we have 3 essays to complete, and 3 practicals i have to read up on. And mind you, not mini essays but huge ones, but at least it's better than writing about Socrates 2 yrs ago, when I had hardly any background knowledge on the History Of Ideas.
(omfg i'm blogging)
When the pig lecturer finally said GET OUT OF HERE! everyone breathed a sigh of relief. It's just been an awefully long week, with the prac and the physio test, and spending every half day that i had in the library (but i ended up drawing on the whiteboards or talking). And it's not only me who's been doing that, a lot of ang mohs (surprise surprise) were also at the library, and there are even regulars. On tuesday the tutorial study rooms were all booked out by my fellow nerds, so Tammy (the librarian) convinced me that the small room next to the photocopier was good. It was not bad, except the dude in the lounge area next door was flirting with a girl so it got a lil noisy. OMG i'm talking crap.
After class, me suemae and gez had a simultaneous craving for Max Brenner. So after buying tix for the train to our next farm destination (Shepparton), we headed to the bald man's chocolate shop for yummy choc pizza, souffle and mousse. The branch at Melb central usually have all asian stuff, but there was this really yummy and TALL ang moh working there today. GOSH stop it, is it ok for me to comment about guys the way guys comment about girls??!
After which, I headed to Sanity to look for The Academy Is...'s new album: fast Times At Barrington High. I expected not to see it there, caz they are not that famous here. BUT LOW AND BEHOLD the have it! *tears* If anyone wants the songs i'll be happy to spread the music. Yes i have listened to the whole album already and the verdict is................... sadly it's not as good as their 2nd album Santi and 1st album Almost Here. but nevertheless, there are still several nice tracks. And can you believe it, William beckett the lead singer wrote all the songs and melodies to all the tracks. But he had help for quite a number of tracks of course.
That's all for now!

♥ Ok, here goes another nonsense post
This is a really nice song, it's called Sacred by (yes another 'emo' band) Tokio Hotel.
I just don't understand how someone can write something like that. I mean sure, this is really sweet and heart wrenching, but there is no 'practical application'.
The only scenario i can picture this in is Titanic or Romeo+Juliet...
I'm still awake for you
We won't make it together
We can't hide the truth
I'm giving up for you now
My final wish will guide you out
Before the ocean breaks apart
Underneath me
Remember
To me you'll be forever sacred
I'm dying but I know
Our love will live
Your hand above
Like a dove
Over me
Remember
To me you'll be forever sacred
You break the ice when you speak
With every breath you take
You save me
I know that one day
We'll meet again
Try to go on as long as you can
Even when the ocean breaks apart
Underneath you
Remember
To me you'll be forever sacred
I'm dying but I know
Our love will live
Your hand above
Like a dove
Over me
Remember
To me you'll be forever sacred
Forever you
Forever sacred
Forever you
You will be sacred
In your eyes
I see the hope
I once knew
I'm sinking
I'm sinking
Away from you
Don't turn around
You'll see
You can make it
Never forget
To me you'll be forever sacred
I'm dying but I know
Our love will live
Your hand above
Like a dove
Over me
And one day
The sea will guide you
Back to me
Remember
To me you'll be forever sacred
To me you'll be forever sacred

♥ Hello Beazer
Sometimes, it's such a pity when a talent does not get realised. People subscribe to crap stuff on youtube, so why not subscribe to him too!

♥ By Belle Raven
Lonely Heart's Lust
Lonely hearts set minds on fire
Forbidden fruit of loins desire
Pushed aside, cast adrift
Pretty thing creates such a rift
Guilt and worry burning bright
Pretty may have lost the fight
Lust and love intertwining
All her fear, still pretty is pining
Fear of anger, fear of the big reject
When will handsome ever be direct?
She writes, very emo, dark, sexual poems/rhymes, but she is very good at it!

♥ Melbourne Spring Fashion Festival
Most people didn't know, but this whole week has been the Melbourne Spring Fashion Festival, and tomorrow's the last day.I went for the one at Melbourne Central on Wednesday night, and it was pretty good. We (me, my bro and his friends) went early so we got a perfect spot. Plus, I told my bro to bring a step stool, and it turned out to be a great idea, caz we were heaps taller than other people, thus got better shots, and the models were 'inclined' to look at the weirdly tall photographer. So here are some of the pics taken with my bro's bro camera. The pics were taken my both me and my bro.
