♥ New Moon

My head is rather woozy, and i am not sure if it is due to my medication, or due to the fact that I have been reading non-stop for the past 7 hours??

Gezzel's my book guru!

When I went to the book rental shop, i searched the shelves for a book about vampires. That was infact all I knew about it, and I had no clue what the title was or who the author was. After mentioning the words ‘vampire’ and ‘series’ to the lady, she nonchalantly pointed me to the very first book shelf. I searched the shelf up and down like a dumbass before she finally pointed to the most inconspicuous spot. I mean who would put a book right on top of a shelf, it’s not like anyone will look there!

Then I asked her several times if New Moon was the first book in the trilogy, and she insisted that it was. But when it was only when I brought the book home did I realize that it was the second book I borrowed. I’ll never trust her again. But I read the book anyways, and it was absolutely not a disappointment.

The movie will only come out in Dec 2008, which means it’ll hit theatres in Singapore much much later… But I am sure Gezzel and I will go crazy about it haha. I don’t really like who they picked for most of the characters, but if the writer insists on them, I shall not criticize any further until after the movie.
